Being caused by traumatic occurrences such as bites, microtrauma by orthodontic appliances or as a complication of any intervention, specifically we refer to the extravasation mucoceles found mainly in the lower lip of the young patients.El Objetivo de presentar el caso es describir clínicamente la lesión, la reprecusión emocional que tiene el niño y el tratamiento realizado. El mucocele, es la más común de las hinchazones labiales en niños, es una lesión bastante frecuente de observar en la cavidad bucal, se origina de las glándulas salivales menores, puede aparecer en cualquier área de la boca donde asienten estas glándulas; pero sin embargo, muchos investigadores afirman que la localización más frecuente es el labio inferior en casi un 96 %.
