Due to insufficient information from meteorological and hydrometric measurements within the basin, the daily precipitation grid information from the PISCO database v2.1 of SENAMHI was used, the model of frequency duration curves from the ILLA-SENAMHI-UNI study, and the Snyder unit hydrograph, and the results obtained were calibrated based on the records of maximum flows from the Requena-Biabo hydrometric station. Thus, for example, for the Requena-Biabo station basin, the comparison between the flows of maximum floods generated with the flows recorded in for different return times, the error obtained fluctuates between ± 5%.Este trabajo se enfoca en el cálculo y validación de los parámetros usados para la generación de caudales de máximas avenidas a lo largo de 16 puntos de interés en el cauce principal del río Biabo. Debido a la insuficiente información de mediciones meteorológicas e hidrométricas dentro de la cuenca, se utilizó la información grillada de precipitación diaria de la base de datos PISCO v2.1 del SENAMHI, el modelo de curvas de duración frecuencia del estudio ILLA-SENAMHI-UNI, y el hidrograma unitario de Snyder, y los resultados obtenidos fueron calibrados en base a los registros de caudales máximos de la estación hidrométrica Requena-Biabo.
