From this perspective, the article focuses its attention on establishing the future trends that emerge from a prospective study of the career and profession of economic engineering. We believe that these trends should frame the situational and prospective diagnosis of FIECS, so that according to the new developments and challenges of the Peruvian reality, they will allow FIECS to propose a new catalog of degrees, profiles and curricula, which will reposition FIECS in its work of continuing to provide the country with the professionals in Economic Engineering that it really demands and requires.
