Due to having had a direct and pioneering participation in the non-formal education of the programs in Peru and in Latin America, I was selected to share these experiences. At present, I think it is appropriate to carry out 30 years later, an update with a comprehensive verification of PRONOEI impact not only including boys and girls who are the fundamental objective of these programs but mainly all participating actors which are about 99% women. Preliminaries contributions are abridged in Braslavsky (1984).El presente documento constituye una actualización del documento original escrito para la Reunión Regional organizada por la UNESCO –OREALC para reflexionar y plantear alternativas para el tema de la Educación de las Mujeres en nuestra América Latina. Fui invitada a Panamá para compartir con colegas las perspectivas sobre este tema. Habiendo tenido una participación directa y pionera en la Educación No escolarización de los programas en Perú y de América Latina fui seleccionada para compartir dichas experiencias. En la actualidad he creído oportuno hacer una actualización 30 años más tarde con una comprobación total del impacto de los PRONOEI no solo en los niños y niñas objetivo fundamental de estos programas sino principalmente en todos sus actores participantes los cuales son alrededor de un 99% mujeres.
