The research method used was the quasi-experimental design, where we worked with an experimental group of 32 students and a control group of 30, from sections "A" and "B" respectively; For data collection, a team applied as pre and post test was used, said instrument was validated by experts and went through Cronbach's alpha test for greater reliability. The results show that after the application of the Socratic method, 94% reached the level of reflection Achieved and only 6% remained at the Process level, compared to the initial results that showed 63% Achieved and 38% Process, which means that 32% of students in the 4th grade "A" went from the Process to theLa presente investigación titulada: Influencia del método socrático en la reflexión de los alumnos del Colegio Nacional Aplicación UNHEVAL- 2022, tuvo como objetivo determinar la influencia del método socrático en la reflexión de los alumnos del 4to grado de secundaria de dicha institución educativa. El método de investigación utilizado fue el diseño cuasi experimental, donde se trabajó con un grupo experimental de 32 alumnos y otro de control de 30, de las secciones “A” y “B” respectivamente; para la recolección de datos se empleó un cuestionario aplicado como pre y pos test, dicho instrumento fue validado por expertos y pasó por la prueba de alfa de Cronbach para mayor confiabilidad. Los resultados muestran que posterior a la aplicación del método socrático, el 94 % alcanzó el nivel de reflexión Logrado y solo un 6% se mantuvo en el nivel Proceso, frente a los resultados iniciales que mostraron un 63% Logrado y un 38% Proceso, lo cual significa que, un 32% de alumnos del 4to grado “A” pasaron del nivel Proceso al Logrado; resultados similares se obtuvieron en las dimensiones ética, política y estética. La prueba de hipótesis de T de student aplicado a los datos del pre y pos test del grupo experimental resultó con un p valor de dos colas 0,000002, la cual es menor al nivel de significancia 0,05 rechazando de esta manera la hipótesis nula y aceptando la alterna.
