For this purpose, it is essential not only to have laws and norms but mainly the determination of social actors to develop in this way when solving practical problems. This research aims to understand the behavior of the main actors, especially organic coffee cooperatives in their interaction with the State and fair-trade organizations in the Perene basin, in the central forest. The research was carried out in a specific situation: a critical phytosanitary juncture caused by the coffee yellow rust fungus (Hemileia vastatrix), in the second decade of this century. It analyzes data from a representative survey, interviews with multiple actors and secondary information.  The result, shows that, even when the cooperatives coffee production has certifications according to organic and fair-trade rules (and associate their crops with trees from the inga family), some of the partners reproduce deforestation trends affecting sustainability. Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina2023-12-30info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdftext/htmlhttps://revistas.lamolina.edu.pe/index.php/tnu/article/view/182310.21704/rtn.v17i2.1823Tierra Nuestra; Vol. 17 No. 2 (2023): July to December; 145-158Tierra Nuestra; Vol. 17 Núm. 2 (2023): Julio a Diciembre; 145-1582519-738X1818-4103reponame:Revistas - Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molinainstname:Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molinainstacron:UNALMspahttps://revistas.lamolina.edu.pe/index.php/tnu/article/view/1823/2847https://revistas.lamolina.edu.pe/index.php/tnu/article/view/1823/2848Derechos de autor 2023 Julio Chávez Achonghttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessoai:revistas.lamolina.edu.pe:article/18232024-02-19T19:29:33Z
