Given this, educational institutions, as providers of a fundamental service, must develop organizational resilience, which is the organizational capacity to face difficulties and learn from them. The objective of the research was to contrast the reality of an educational institution in the Peruvian jungle with the theory of organizational resilience, to corroborate and contextualize the theoretical assumptions, and collect the lived experience and lessons learned, in the framework of the Covid-19. The research design was qualitative (single case study), with the informants being the director, the deputy director and a mother. The techniques used were the unstructured, semi-structured interview and documentary analysis. As a result, coincidences were found between theory and reality, configuring the educational institution as a resilient organization that has left us lessons that can be useful for the authorities of the sector and other educational institutions.Los acontecimientos nacionales e internacionales demuestran que estamos en tiempos de incertidumbre y diversas crisis pueden presentarse, en cualquier momento. Ante ello, las instituciones educativas, como prestadoras de un servicio fundamental, deben desarrollar resiliencia organizacional que es la capacidad organizativa para afrontar las dificultades y aprender de ellas. El objetivo de la investigación fue contrastar la realidad de una institución educativa de la selva peruana con la teoría de la resiliencia organizacional, para corroborar y contextualizar los supuestos teóricos, y recoger la experiencia vivida y lecciones aprendidas, en el marco del covid-19. El diseño de la investigación fue cualitativo (estudio de caso único), siendo los informantes la directora, la subdirectora y una madre de familia. Las técnicas utilizadas fueron la entrevista no estructurada, semiestructurada y el análisis documental.
