Objective. To determine the level of burnout syndrome presented by university teachers during virtual classes. Methods. A simple descriptive design was used, the burnout syndrome was determined based on three dimensions: emotional fatigue, depersonalization and personal fulfillment. The population was made up of all the teachers of Universidad de Huánuco, 531 teachers during the 2020-II period. The instrument for collecting these data was based on the transparency section of the official website of Universidad de Huánuco. The sample was determined probabilistically by strata, resulting in a total of 223 teachers. Statistics used were descriptive, where summary measures were considered. Results. Regarding the emotional fatigue dimension, it was obtained that 46.3% of teachers presented low emotional fatigue and only 35.2% of teachers obtained a high level of emotional fatigue, in relation to the delivery of virtual classes. Regarding depersonalization dimension. Mixed results were obtained, since 40.1% of the teachers obtained a high level of depersonalization, while 44.1% had a low level, and the remaining a medium level. In personal fulfillment dimension, 59% of the teachers obtained a low level. Conclusion. Teachers presented the burnout syndrome at a low level, specifically in the dimension of emotional exhaustion in the context of virtual classes, reflected in 46.3% of the cases. |

Determinar el nivel del síndrome de burnout presentado por los docentes universitarios durante dictado de clases virtuales. Métodos. Se empleó el diseño descriptivo simple, el síndrome del burnout fue determinado en base a sus tres dimensiones: cansancio emocional, despersonalización y realización personal. La población estuvo compuesta por todos los docentes de la Universidad de Huánuco, contabilizados en 531 docentes durante el ciclo 2020-II. El instrumento de recolección de estos datos se basó en la sección transparencia de la página de web oficial de la Universidad de Huánuco. La muestra se determinó en forma probabilística por estratos resultando un total de 223 docentes. La estadística empleada fue la descriptiva, donde se consideró medidas de resumen. Resultados. En cuanto a la dimensión cansancio emocional, se obtuvo que el 46,3 % de docentes presentaron un cansancio emocional bajo y solo el 35,2 % de los docentes obtuvieron un nivel alto de cansancio emocional, en relación al dictado de las clases virtuales. En cuanto a la dimensión despersonalización se obtuvieron resultados divididos, ya que el 40,1 % de los docentes obtuvieron un nivel alto de despersonalización, mientras que el 44,1 % tuvo un nivel bajo y el restante un nivel medio. En la dimensión realización personal, el 59 % de los docentes obtuvieron un nivel bajo. Conclusión. Los docentes presentaron el síndrome del burnout a un nivel bajo, específicamente en la dimensión de cansancio emocional en el contexto del dictado de clases virtuales reflejado en un 46,3 % de los casos.Objetivo. Para determinar o nível de síndrome de burnout apresentado pelos professores universitários durante as aulas virtuais. Métodos. Foi utilizado um desenho descritivo simples, a síndrome de burnout foi determinada com base em suas três dimensões: exaustão emocional, despersonalização e realização pessoal. A população era composta por todos os professores da Universidade de Huánuco, que foram responsáveis por 531 professores durante o ciclo 2020-II. O instrumento de coleta de dados foi baseado na seção de transparência do site oficial da Universidade de Huánuco. A amostra foi determinada de forma probabilística por estratos, resultando em um total de 223 professores. Foram utilizadas estatísticas descritivas, onde medidas sumárias foram consideradas. Resultados. Com relação à dimensão da fadiga emocional, verificou-se que 46,3% dos professores tinham baixa fadiga emocional e apenas 35,2% dos professores tinham um alto nível de fadiga emocional, em relação ao ensino das aulas virtuais. Quanto à dimensão da despersonalização, os resultados foram divididos, com 40,1% dos professores tendo um alto nível de despersonalização, enquanto 44,1% tinham um baixo nível de despersonalização e os restantes 44,1% tinham um nível médio. Na dimensão de auto-realização, 59 % dos professores obtiveram baixa pontuação. Conclusão.
