We present a case of a pregnant woman with a previous cesarean section and a report of an ultrasound with a double circular umbilical cord and a fetus small for gestational age who had ruptured membranes during labor with meconium fluid in pea puree, cord prolapse, umbilical and precipitated delivery, obtaining through vaginal care a live newborn with APGAR 2-6-8 and favorable maternal and fetal evolution.El prolapso de cordón umbilical es una emergencia obstétrica con baja incidencia que se asocia a graves complicaciones perinatales, siendo de extrema preocupación para el profesional de salud materna como el obstetra.
