Descripción
Sumario:The objective of this article is to review the factors that influence servitization in research that has been carried out taking as a sample companies that operate in countries with emerging economies. Based on the application of the PRISMA method, a systematic review of literature has been carried out making possible to identify these factors, while the phenomenon of servitization presents different knowledge gaps, but also population gaps. Thus, the literature in this field tends to concentrate on developed countries and on those with technological development and an intensive use of technology that is above average. Therefore, this article carries out an analysis in a specific population area, which has not been addressed in other studies. In this way, it is intended to identify specific factors that influence servitization, based on the studies carried out in an institutional and technological context with reliefs and nuances, but that is presented as different from that of those developed countries, in such a way that the study serves to motivate further research on this field in emerging countries. In this study, differences and similarities have been found with respect to the general literature, and it has also been identified that there are also differences within emerging countries, mainly due to the different technological bases that exist between China and the rest of the countries that are part of this subgroup.
