In an anecdotal way, and making a review of some of his writings, this text presents Jeffrey Klaiber not only as a historian but also fundamentally as an educator fully aware of the need to promote personal autonomy as a source of regulation of action, and as an indispensable element for a democratic coexistence.En este artículo analizo la postura que el padre Jeffrey Klaiber tuvo acerca del importante rol de la razón y la autonomía para el desarrollo de la conciencia ciudadana y para la construcción de personas justas y éticas.
