A census survey was applied to 50 workers, the instrument was the questionnaire. The results show that 55% of the staff consider that the level of "Job satisfaction" is fair. The component with the highest incidence was the “Job Challenge” and the one in which it was necessary to improve was the “Rewards”. Regarding the level of "Organizational commitment", 64% consider it to be regular, the most prominent dimension being "Regulatory commitment" and the one focused on improvement was "Continuous commitment".It is concluded that there is a positive and high relationship (value of Rho = 0,711 and a value of p = 0,000) between job satisfaction and organizational commitment.La investigación tiene como objetivo principal el determinar la relación entre la satisfacción laboral y el compromiso organizacional del personal del Programa Nacional de Centros Juveniles, 2019; siendo el tipo puro o básico, donde el nivel fue correlacional, el diseño fue no experimental, el enfoque fue cuantitativo. Se aplicó una encuesta censal a 50 trabajadores, el instrumento fue el cuestionario. Los resultados muestran que el 55% del personal considera que el nivel de “Satisfacción laboral” es regular. El componente de mayor incidencia fue el “Reto del trabajo” y aquel en el cual hay que mejorar fue las “Recompensas”. Sobre el nivel de “Compromiso organizacional”, el 64% considera que es regular, siendo la dimensión más destacada el “Compromiso normativo” y el focalizado a mejorar fue el “Compromiso continuo”.
