description La “predictibilidad” constituye uno de los principales retos de cualquier sistema judicial, su presencia es una manifestación del derecho a la igualdad y muestra de seguridad jurídica. De otro lado, la predictibilidad judicial no solo se manifiesta en beneficio de los justiciables, sino también del propio sistema, proporcionando celeridad en la impartición de justicia y por ende la descarga procesal, creando confianza y credibilidad en el Poder Judicial y también como mecanismo de control de la facultad discrecional del juez, dejando al margen rasgos de corrupción. El presente trabajo tiene por objeto describir cómo funciona la predictibilidad en el sistema judicial peruano y específicamente en la jurisdicción contencioso-administrativa; y, a partir de dicha descripción, realizar un análisis crítico de su eficacia en la actualidad.
