El instrumento desarrollado fue valido por un grupo de 6 expertos que lograron un índice de validez de contenido para Escalar de 0,93 demostrando una aprobación favorable. El instrumento también fue validado por métodos psicométricos obteniendo la validación en 2 escalas unidimensionales, Conocimientos y Practicas, con un KR – 20 de 0,59 para ambas escalar indicando una fiabilidad moderada. Aunque el análisis factorial fue bajo para ambas escalas, KMO de 0,41 y 0,59, respectivamente, lo que indica que el tamaño de la muestra fue pequeña para el proceso de validación de un instrumento con elementos dicotómicos. Este estudio pone una forma inicial de un instrumento KAP, que tiene validez e contenido por 6 expertos, aplicado en un grupo piloto de 65 trabajadores 2 escalas psicométricas validadas estrictamente con validez interna y moderada fiabilidad aplicada para grupos. Proponemos que debería haber más investigación para validar extensamente este instrumento entre el personal de salud peruano.
