description La presente indagación, que emplea metodología cualitativa y cuantitativa, se concentra en comprender la influencia del contenido televisivo peruano en la juventud limeña y las posibilidades de incidir positivamente en la situación a beneficio del televidente en su relación con el medio masivo. Para ello se decidió determinar y comprender la insatisfacción de la población con los contenidos televisivos de señal abierta, determinar la viabilidad de provocar a los habitantes de Lima Metropolitana a la reflexión sobre la televisión nacional empleando recursos modernos de entretenimiento, acercarse a los jóvenes consumidores de programas de televisión nacional para conocer sobre sus características y proponer un proyecto comunicacional que contribuya a un cambio social favorable a la insatisfacción con los contenidos televisivos de señal abierta. Luego de concluir el análisis, se formuló como posible solución el crear una línea de activismo que busque originar un cambio social desde los mismos televidentes, empoderándolos en su alfabetización mediática de manera efectiva, apuntando a un público joven empleando las plataformas digitales con productos comunicacionales de acuerdo a su consumo mediático en concurrencia integral con actividades desarrolladas en espacios físicos y teniendo como objetivos informar sobre el medio televisivo, cuestionar los contenidos y la relación del medio con el televidente, y motivar la actitud crítica frente a los contenidos que el medio ofrece.

To this end, it was decided to identify and understand the dissatisfaction of the population with the open signal television content, to determine the feasibility of provoking the inhabitants of Lima to reflect on the national television issue using modern entertainment resources, approach young consumers of national television to learn about their characteristics and propose a communication project that contributes to a favorable social change to the dissatisfaction towards the open signal television content.
