Los instrumentos utilizados fueron el APGAR Familiar de Smilkstein (1978), el cual mide el funcionamiento familiar, y la escala de autoestima de Rosenberg (1973), la cual mide el nivel de autoestima. En el estudio se encontró que el funcionamiento familiar y la autoestima presentan una relación estadísticamente significativa, positiva y grande (r = 0.602). No se encontraron diferencias significativas en los niveles de funcionamiento familiar según diagnóstico (AN o BN). También, se reportó que la edad y la autoestima presentan una relación estadísticamente significativa y directa en pacientes mujeres con TCA (r =.286) |

The sample consisted of 29 women between 15 and 30 years old (M=20.90, SD=2.986). The instruments used were Smilkstein's (1978) Family APGAR, which measures family functioning, and Rosenberg's (1973) self-esteem scale, which measures the level of selfesteem. Likewise, it was found that family functioning and self-esteem present a statistically significant, positive and large relationship ( r = .602).
