Cabe indicar que el mecanismo de portabilidad en telefonía móvil fue relanzado el 16 de julio último, cuando el plazo de ejecución del cambio de operadora se redujo a 24 horas. Desde dicha fecha hasta el cierre de noviembre, se han acumulado 121,137 líneas móviles portadas. Las empresas operadoras Entel Perú y Bitel ganaron 64,412 y 2,388 líneas móviles entre el 16 de julio y fines de noviembre. En el mismo período, las empresas y Movistar captaron 28,970 y 25,357, respectivamente. Sin embargo, ambas operadoras perdieron 56,092 y 53,095 líneas.
