Los sujetos involucrados en este trabajo son niños de 4 y 5 años que estudian en el nivel inicial, padres de familia de los mismos y tres docentes de la especialidad. Los instrumentos que se utilizaron para recoger y procesar los datos fueron la encuesta aplicada a los padres de familia, lista de cotejo, ficha de observación participante y los diarios de campo. Al término de la investigación se concluyó que la mayor parte de los padres de familia de las instituciones “Adventista” y “Barcia Boniffati” mejoraron el contenido de las loncheras escolares promoviendo el consumo de alimentos saludables.

This research was carried out within the framework of the educational action research approach and its corresponding methodology. The subjects involved in this work are 4- and 5-year-old children who study at the initial level, their parents and three teachers of the specialty. The instruments that were used to collect and process the data were the survey administered to parents, checklist, participant observation sheet and field diaries. At the end of the research, it was concluded that the majority of parents from the “Adventista” and “Barcia Boniffati” institutions improved the content of school lunch boxes, promoting the
