Hospital II "Manuel de Torres Muñoz", Moliendo Gerencia de Red Asistencial ArequipaSe realizó un trabajo longitudinal de tipo experimental, prospectivo y analítico en voluntarios portadores de asma bronquial en el Hospital "Manuel Torres Muñoz" de EsSalud, Moliendo, usando un equipo diseñado por el autor y construido con ayuda del servicio de mantenimiento del hospital, emisor de 10 Hertz para estimular el dermatoma T1 y observar su asociación con el pico espiratorio máximo en pacientes con diagnóstico de asma bronquial. Se encontró que la estimulación en T1 dura11te 15 y 30 minutos aumenta los valores del pico espiratorio máximo en comparación al grupo basal y placebo, con un nivel de significación de p < 0.001. El efecto encontrado por el equipo estimulador de frecuencias es similar al producido por los beta 2 agonistas, como el salbutamol, administrados por vía inhalatoria (p < 0.01). Los valores del pico espiratorio máximo se sinergizan si se usan en forma. combinada la estimulación con 10 Hertz en dermatoma T1 y salbutamol (beta 2 agonistas), la estimulación con 10 Hertz en el dermatoma TI y la beclometasona (antinflamatorio esteroideo) con nivel significación de p < 0.001.
