This study intends to analyze parental bond and aggressiveness in adolescents attending the first year of high school in a public educational institution located in San Juan de Lurigancho District, and the relationship between those variables. The sample consisted of 100 adolescents (12-13 years old). The instruments applied were the Behaviourally Anchored Rating Scales- BARS (Conger 1989), The Buss and Perry Aggression Questionnaire (modified by Matalinares, Yariñango, Uceda, Fernández, Huari, Campos, and Villavicencio, 2012), and a sociodemographic datasheet. The results show the lack of statistically significant relationship between the variables. The sample also shows a high rate of physical aggressiveness. Indeed, after the sample analysis, it was concluded that the influence of the adolescent’s social environment might explain the existence of such aggressive behavior.

El propósito de la investigación fue analizar la relación entre la inteligencia emocional y la agresividad en estudiantes del nivel secundario de una institución educativa pública de Iquitos, 2024. La metodología fue de enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental correlacional; la población estuvo conformada por 210 alumnos de cuarto y quinto grado de secundaria, ambos géneros, de la institución educativa 60052 Grlmo. Background The aim of this study was to design and develop a set of, short message service (SMS) to promote specialized mental health care seeking within the framework of the Allillanchu Project. Methods The design phase consisted of 39 interviews with potential recipients of the SMS, about use of cellphones, and perceptions and motivations towards seeking mental health care. After the data collection, the research team developed a set of seven SMS for validation. The content validation phase consisted of 24 interviews. The participants answered questions regarding their understanding of the SMS contents and rated its appeal.
