The precariousness, in the urban history of our city, has been linked to a great lack of resources thatlead its inhabitants to live in inadequate places and in contexts of poverty and disorder. Parallel tothis, it has prevailed in this history the desire and enormous effort to be inhabitants of a city that,since the middle of the twentieth century, has grown vertiginously prevailed.In Lima we can identify two types of city: the urban and the urban-cone. The first corresponds to the oldestdistricts, located in the central part, whose land has been appropriated over the years by real estate andfinancial investments. La precariedad, en la historia urbana de nuestra ciudad, ha estado ligada a una gran falta de recursos que llevó a sus habitantes a vivir en lugares inadecuados y en contextos de pobreza y desorden. De manera paralela, ha prevalecido en esta historia el deseo y el enorme esfuerzo por ser pobladores de una ciudad que, desde mediados del siglo XX, creció vertiginosamente. En Lima podemos identificar dos tipos de ciudad: la urbana y la conurbana.
