Emotional Regulation (ER) strategies are created depending on the attachment style, as the probability to experiment positive emotions increases. Need for Social Approval (NSA) works as a motivator that guides behavior and facilitates social adaptation, being associated positively with Mental Health (MH). Relationships between attachment styles, ER, SD and MH were evaluated. In total, 469 participants answered the Revised Adult Attachment Scale, the ER Questionnaire, the NSA Scale and the MH Inventory MHI-38. Significant differences were found in all variables regarding attachment styles. Securely attached individuals had the highest psychological wellbeing and used cognitive re-evaluation as an ER strategy. NSA is conceived as a favorable social adjustment strategy that impacts individual’s MH, influenced by attachment styles in interaction with ER.

This article shows how corruption today manifests itself through networks of interests that infiltrate the Public Administration. These networks generate a system parallel to the formally recognized one that has its own actors and rules of the game. Proof of this are the recent cases involving high officials of the justice system and the construction company Odebrecht. To confront these forms of corruption, it will be necessary to understand the complexity of its diverse dynamics.

The objective of this research was to analyze the perceptions of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) in lesbian, gay and bisexual (LGB) couples in metropolitan Lima. A qualitative study was carried out, with a reflexive thematic analysis design, in which 17 LGB people who have had at least one homosexual relationship in the last year were interviewed. The analysis was carried out with the support of ATLAS.ti 22 software. The results show, on the one hand, the emotional insecurity expressed in the fears generated by jealousy that lead to situations of distrust and control behaviors, producing feelings of loneliness in the victim. El presente artículo muestra cómo hoy en día la corrupción se manifiesta a través de redes de intereses que se infiltran en la Administración Pública. Estas redes generan un sistema paralelo al formalmente reconocido que cuenta con sus propios actores y reglas de juego. Muestra de ello son los casos recientes que involucran a altos funcionarios del sistema de justicia y a la constructora Odebrecht. Para enfrentar estas formas de corrupción se requerirá comprender lo complejo de sus diversas dinámicas.

In the present work we estimate the aerosols optical thickness (AOT) in the wavelength of 0.55µm using the mod021km - level 1B Calibrated Radiances - 1km images as input of the SBDART radiative transfer model [1]. The study area is Peru in the geographic latitudes 0 to 20°S and the geographic longitudes of 82 to 68°O. The SBDART model simulates the radiative transfer in the atmosphere (scattering, absorption, emission, etc.), estimating the irradiance in the top of the atmosphere and on the Earth surface. The two-stream and Eddington approximations are used to solve the radiative transfer equation, considering a parallel plane atmosphere.
