Academic self-efficacy is a powerful predictor of academic success, yet there are several factors that predispose it. Because of this, an explanatory model is proposed using the self-regulation of academic activities, positive affection, and personality. Hierarchical multiple linear regression was used to support the predictive proposal of the model. The Specific Perceived Self-Efficacy Scale of Academic Situations, The Scale of Positive and Negative Experience, Subscale Self-Regulation of Activities of the Academic Procrastination Scale, and Mini International Personality Item Pool (MINI-IPIP) were used. High correlations were obtained in the self-regulation of activities, positive affection, and personality (extraversion, concientousness and openness to experience) to academic self-efficacy. Apparition of abnormal vasculature is common at the first phases of tumor growth. It is known as angiogenesis having the whole process various phases. This is also seen as a random migration of cells that require the flux of blood in order to accomplish the consolidation of tumor. This paper provides a hybrid approach by the which it is assumd that sprouting angiogenesis has a well-defined part that would have to be described by classical electrodynamics. A closed-form model that allows to perform computational simulations is presented. In this manner, while the electrically charged compounds such as ions (cations and anions) are described by Coulomb forces, nano particles can be well described by the diffusion equation. In the present work we estimate the aerosols optical thickness (AOT) in the wavelength of 0.55µm using the mod021km - level 1B Calibrated Radiances - 1km images as input of the SBDART radiative transfer model [1]. The study area is Peru in the geographic latitudes 0 to 20°S and the geographic longitudes of 82 to 68°O. The SBDART model simulates the radiative transfer in the atmosphere (scattering, absorption, emission, etc.), estimating the irradiance in the top of the atmosphere and on the Earth surface. The two-stream and Eddington approximations are used to solve the radiative transfer equation, considering a parallel plane atmosphere. The objective of this instrumental research was to confirm the psychometric properties of the EACIN-R Attitudes towards Research Scale, which contains three factors with 28 items comprised in three subscales: interest, vocation and assessment of research. 220 students from a Peruvian university participated, 82 men and 138 women. Confirmatory factor analysis and parallel Horn analysis confirmed the internal structure of the instrument, the trifactorial model, and the number of items in each subscale. Cronbach's alpha index, for the reliability analysis, yielded a value of .898 in the total test. In addition, reliability was obtained for each of its factors, vocation (.862), assessment (.692) and interest in research (.757). While some research show that those experiencing enhanced control over their personal information are less concerned about their privacy, other studies are discovering contexts in which enhanced privacy control only worsens people's privacy concern. Thus, this dissertation focuses on two major issues: The nature and antecedent explanations for varying perceptions of privacy control, and the degree in which privacy control goes beyond mitigating concern and affects and behaviors.
