It is known that mining activity is synonym of investment, growing and development, however many times it becomes cause of controversies, difficulties and unrest; not only between the mining enterprise and the impacted communities but also the government gets involved in the conflicts. This happens, because as the actor in charge of regulate mining activities, it has the obligation of assume a position and to decide about the course of these conflicts. This article aims to identify the strategies of public relations that the Peruvian government has employed in the management of the social conflicts related to the mining activity in Cajamarca, Peru; and determine if these strategies were conceived from a systemic and symmetrical perspective. Social innovation is recognized by multilateral organizations as a way to cope creatively and collaboratively with social demands that are not satisfied, neither from the public nor from the private. This challenge requires management reliable relationship between actors with diverse and sometimes conflicting interests. In this sense, the social function of public relations (PR) can provide an important service to prevent resistance to social changes that involve innovation processes. The literature consulted shows that theorizations on social innovation, recommend cultivating relational capital and theories and models PR provide methods and techniques to reliably achieve said capital. El objetivo principal de la presente investigación ha sido determinar la relación que existe entre la enseñanza del área de educación religiosa y pandemia de la COVID-19 en estudiantes del nivel de educación secundaria en la Institución Educativa N° 1213 del distrito de Ate. El método corresponde a una investigación de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básico, de nivel descriptivo y de diseño correlacional.
