Follow a research project of archaeological materials, the authors develop the inventory, classification and ordering of archaeological artifacts from the monument Huaca Concha, that were recovered from 1989 to 1994 and later deposited in the School of Archaeology of the San Marcos University. The main objective of the study consisted of the identification and reintegration of various funerary contexts rescued from Huaca Concha, that were being reorganized and stored by material items in the deposits of the school of archeology. This work also helped identify moments of material collection, responsible for recoveries and especially additional collections of cultural materials relevant to the history and the historical understanding of this archaeological site.

The present article presents the finding of funerary contexts found in association with ushnu, in sector B of the archaeological complex of Lumbra. This archaeological complex is the only one in the Chancay-Huaral valley, where Tawantinsuyu architectural elements such as the Ushnu and the two kanchas have been identified in front of the square. The finding of these two funerary contexts shows new insights for the understanding of the Tawantinsuyu occupation in the middle valley of the Chancay-Huaral river.

En el presente artículo se presenta el hallazgo de contextos funerarios hallados en asociación al ushnu, en el sector B del complejo arqueológico de Lumbra. Este complejo arqueológico, es el único en el valle Chancay-Huaral, donde hasta el momento se ha identificado elementos arquitectónicos Tawantinsuyu, como el ushnu y las dos kanchas, ubicadas frente a la plaza. El hallazgo de estos dos contextos funerarios nos muestra nuevas luces para la comprensión de la ocupación del Tawantinsuyu en el valle medio del río Chancay-Huaral.

We present archaeological, ethnohistorical and ethnographic to know and understand the cultural roots of the Santa Ana in Ayacucho, established in an area with human occupation since at least the Formative period, according to material culture evidence recorded in the nearby settlements of Pilacucho, Andamarca Waychaupampa and in the neighborhood of Santa Ana, whose square drawn in the colonial era is on the cultural vestiges Huarpa and Wari, during this last period the inhabitants were devoted to the production of pottery, something similar to what was happening in villages and Acuchimay Conchopata. Este plan estratégico se ha desarrollado para la fábrica de Ataúdes y Artículos Funerarios Da Vinci S.A.C, la cual se encuentra ubicada en Lima, operando desde el año 2007. La empresa cuenta con 60 empleados y se dedica a la producción de ataúdes para el mercado nacional, siendo un mercado donde el comprador adquiere los servicios funerarios en un momento de necesidad y usualmente se encuentra desinformado, por lo que el precio no es el factor relevante en la toma de decisión. Sin embargo, la venta de ataúdes no se da al comprador final sino a empresas funerarias, las cuales tienen alto poder de negociación y son muy sensibles a los costos. The so called “heads are characterized trophy” be born represented in ceramics, proceeding from the south coast of Peru, to propose the possible function and meaning that fulfilled from the iconographic representations and comparisons with examples of other parts world. The author suggests that the heads trophy real and the representations of such heads were important in the world view; it was not necessary to use the first ones to fulfill the above mentioned functions, but symbols were used, you answer in clay and the corresponding paintings in funeral contexts like substitutes of the real ones. This way, since in other parts of the world there appears the complexity and changeability of the related ideas, the function is a difficult comprehension cabalmente and meaning of the heads trophy is born.

Esta investigación se centra en los rituales funerarios de la cultura Nikkei en Perú, explorando cómo estos se han transformado y transmitido de generación en generación tras la migración. A través de una metodología interpretativa, se examina la preservación de la memoria individual y colectiva en la realización de estos rituales, considerándolos como procesos de comunicación complejos que involucran no solo la transmisión de conocimientos y prácticas, sino también la negociación de silencios, olvidos y la participación activa de diversos actores. Abstract Pre-Hispanic culinary practices have been little studied until some years ago. Interest in this type of study is focus to research how the population cooked the vegetable foods offered in the funeral rituals with the purpose to understand food selection and the importance of its preparation in specific social contexts related to death. The investigation has as object of study 13 pottery vessels and 29 in miniature associated to four individuals buried in the North Platform of the Huaca Chotuna during its later occupation (circa 900- 1532 AD).
