This article proposes the use of artificial neural networks (ANN) to solve the power flow problem in electrical energy systems. Power flow calculates the steady state of an electrical power system (SEP) and is a fundamental tool for the planning, operation and control of modern SEPs. The mathematical model of the power flow corresponds to a set of nonlinear algebraic equations that can be solved conventionally with the iterative Newton-Raphson (NR) method or with its decoupled versions. Currently, there are various commercial computer programs that use such methods. Among the objectives of the solution of the ANN-based power flow problem proposed here, its potential application stands out to solve problems that require a large computational effort such as online static security analysis and contingency analysis. This research was conducted in the Hydrographic Region Titicaca, Peru. The main objective was to develop regional models of average monthly flows and persistence of the main rivers, applied to the problem of estimation of flows in basins without hydrometric registration. The problem in engineering lies in the design and construction of a flow device that allows evaluating the consistency of pasty or thick foods, for which it has actually been reformulated as an empirical flow channel device following the model of the “Bostwick consistometer” through the "Bostwick consistency", which is used by researchers to define technical terms, such as tomato sauce. In this work we investigate rotational waves resonantly excited by a submerged obstacle in a sheared shallow water channel with constant vorticity. In the weakly nonlinear, weakly dispersive regime, the problem is formulated in the forced Korteweg-de Vries framework. We compute the solution of the initial value problem for this equation numerically using a Fourier pseudospectral method with integrating factor. The water surface is initially taken at rest, and once the current is turned on, waves are immediately generated in the free surface. We identify the main effects of sheared current in the generated waves such as rotational solitary waves propagating upstream and sharp crested waves being generated.

The globalization of the economy and the internationalization of capital markets today is quite widespread in the world, that is why there is no place for insulation of different markets, including the stock market and in the case of the Peruvian market is no exception to this reality. In this new context exist a phenomenon of acquisition and merger. The importance that they have taken these acquisitions and mergers of companies makes us think of a technique of recovery that makes it possible to calculate the value of the company to be able to perform this operation without problems and at a fair price. Hence, our concern is to raise a simple model to calculate the value of the company based on the "Free Cash Flow".

La globalización de la economía y la internacionalización de los mercados de capitales es hoy en día un fenómeno totalmente generalizado en el mundo, por esta razón no hay lugar para aislamiento de los distintos mercados incluyendo el mercado de valores y en el caso del mercado peruano no se escapa a esta realidad. En este nuevo contexto existe un fenómeno muy presente relacionado a la adquisición y fusión de empresas. La importancia que han tomado estas adquisiciones y fusiones de empresas hace pensar en una técnica de valorización que permita calcular el valor de la empresa para que se pueda realizar esta operación sin problemas y a un precio justo. De allí que nuestra inquietud es plantear un modelo sencillo para calcular el valor de la empresa partiendo del “Flujo de Caja Libre” cuyo nombre en inglés es “Free Cash Flow”.

El problema de programación de tareas en líneas de producción con trabajadores heterogéneos (Het-FSSP del inglés Heterogeneous Flow Shop Scheduling Problem) se compone de dos subproblemas que deben resolverse conjuntamente: la asignación de trabajadores heterogéneos a las máquinas o puestos de trabajo y el problema correspondiente de programación de tareas en esa línea de producción. El presente trabajo propone la integración de las técnicas propuestas para resolver el problema de programación no permutacional de tareas dentro de las técnicas propuestas para resolver el problema de programación de tareas considerando trabajadores heterogéneos. El método resultante es un algoritmo Scatter Search con Iterativo Goloso (SS+IG). Este nuevo método produce mejores resultados que los métodos propuestos en la literatura.

The flow of a laminar fluid that filters through a porous medium is considered. This behavior leads to the formulation of a mathematical model that, through the Baiocchi transformation, allows it to be expressed as a free boundary problem. En el Perú, la leishmaniasis cutánea (LC) es un problema de salud pública que afecta predominantemente a la población rural socioeconómicamente deprimida.El diagnóstico convencional para esta enfermedad incluye los métodos parasitológico, serológico y molecular, cada uno de los cuales presenta algunas limitaciones.
