Debido a la situación sanitaria causada por la propagación de la COVID-19 a comienzos del 2020, muchos negocios en el Perú se vieron afectados y quebraron. Frente a este nuevo contexto, hubieron empresas que sobrevivieron y otras que encontraron nuevas oportunidades de negocio viables. Tal es así el caso de D’casa, la nueva cadena de restaurantes-delivery de comida peruana hecha en casa que hace su ingreso al sector gastronómico peruano con una propuesta atractiva. Funciona bajo la modalidad “dark kitchen” o cocina fantasma, quiere decir que no cuenta con un local abierto al público, solo cuenta con una cocina alquilada para preparar los platos que sean requeridos. Se muestra el uso de la Espectrofotometría de 2da derivada para determinar la concentración de cafeína en bebidas gasificadas oscuras, (la determinación directa no es posible debido al color intenso de la muestra) y la determinación de caseína en leche (muestra turbia), usando para ambos casos la técnica de adición de patrón. La concentración de cafeína fue de 107 ppm y la de caseína, 3%.

It shows the use of 2nd Derivative Spectrophotometry to determine caffeine concentration in kola drinks, the direct determination is not possible due to the dark coloring, and the determination of casein in milk, a turbid sample; using for both standard addition method. The concentration of caffeine was 107ppm and 3% of casein.

Fox-Fordyce disease is a non-infectious, infrequent inflammatory dermatosis of apocrine glands, isolated by a pruritic papular rash that usually begins frequently at puberty, and which may involve vulva, armpit and perianal region. It affects women more frequently, approximately in a 9 to 1 ratio, compared to men. In the presentation of the case of a female patient, 53 years old, in consultation of Gynecology-Obstetrics, of the General Maria Auxiliadora Hospital, for presenting for 5 months, papular eruption in vulvar area, associated with intermittent pruritus. El área de estudio se encuentra en la cuenca del río Pativilca, específicamente en la subcuenca del río Rapay en la provincia de Cajatambo, región Lima. Se ha identificado dos unidades geomorfológicas denominadas zona de cuenca media que presenta laderas en forma de “V” y paredes escarpadas hacia el fondo del valle y la zona de cuenca alta que comprende la superficie del altiplano y la glaciada. La litología de la zona corresponde en su mayoría a la Formación Santa, conformada por capas de calizas oscuras dolomíticas con algunas intercalaciones de lutitas y la Formación Carhuaz/Farrat conformada por bancos de arenisca y cuarcita con intercalaciones de lutitas continentales. En este informe se presenta la propuesta creativa para Inventiva, un servicio de materiales audiovisuales que se ajusten a la estrategia del cliente según su estrategia de marketing de una micro o pequeña empresa. Se desarrolla la identidad a través del manual de marca, estilo fotográfico, dirección de arte y el proceso de conceptualización de una sesión de fotos. Además, se complementa con el análisis de fotografía publicitaria, contexto, competencia y casos referenciales. Por otro lado, se desarrolla el plan de comunicación para redes del proyecto: Implementación de una página web como portafolio e Instagram. Así como la producción fotográfica la cual traslada la identidad construida y el estilo propuesto. Finalmente, se analiza el recorrido del trabajo y las lecciones aprendidas del proceso.

The aim of the study was to evaluate the variation in body color of Cryphiops caementarius prawn during the molting cycle. Eighty-seven adult prawn (50 males and 37 females) of 5.25 to 8.52 cm total length from the Pativilca River (Peru) were used. The stage of the molting cycle was determined by microscopic examination of the inner edge of the exopodite of the uropods. The color of the prawn body was evaluated in the raw stage and after cooking in water at 100 ºC for 2 min, and in each case, it was photographed with a digital camera. A case of severe rhabdomyolysis associated with multisystem inflammatory syndrome related to COVID-19 (MIS-C) is presented in a one-year 10-month-old boy who presented digestive symptoms, myalgia, weakness, fever, and dark urine. COVID-19 IgM (-) IgG (+) serological test, COVID-19 PCR negative. Initial creatine kinase (CK) presented non-dosable values, with the highest reported level being 517,600 U/L. The creatinine value remained normal throughout the hospitalization. He received human immunoglobulin 2 g/Kg, Methylprednisolone 10 mg/Kg/d, and acetylsalicylic acid to manage MIS-C. 322 individuals of Hippocampus ingens Girard, 1858 – the “Pacific Seahorse” -- were analyzed from a dehydrated sample from an illegal fishing seizure carried out in Tumbes, Piura and Lambayeque (northern region of Peru) in 2016. The values of capture size, sexual proportion and stages of development (juvenile or adult) were determined. The morphometric analysis consisted of determining the total height, body height, and length of the head while the identification of the sexes was based on morphological characters such as the presence of the incubation sac and light keels for males, and the dark spot under the anal fin in the case of adult females. Currently, Odebrecht is the most emblematic case of corruption in Latin America, involving dozens of politicians, businessmen and public works, including Peru and Mexico. However, the problem is not only about corruption, but it is behind a little known system, where the concern has to do with the "rules of the game" and their "players". Therefore, this article aims to explain why Odebrecht was able to influence Peruvian and Mexican states’ decisions about awarding public contracts. In that line, it is argued that they were for three reasons.
