Thanks to movements such as Graphic Medicine and models as Community Translation, the transfer, accessibility and dissemination of science to society is increasing. In this context, infographics have become a communicative tool with several advantages and applications in the medical field for health professionals, patients and general public. With design based on a mixed-methodology approach that combines bibliographical review and corpus linguistics, this article aims to analyse the reliable nature of health infographics as a multimodal informative genre.
