Energy drinks have a history of over a century, but it is since the 1980s that they began to gain popularity, and in the Peruvian case, since the arrival of Red Bull in 2002. It is usually consumed for the ability provided to improve physical and mental performance in situations of exhaustion and fatigue. However, its adverse effects have also been studied, with the main focus being excess caffeine in the body and the high amounts of artificial sugars used in its preparation. Nutrition is a fundamental element in autistic people but not different from what it can be for the general population. Unscientific perspectives suggest that a special type of diet will "recover" the person from autism or that intervening on their microbiota will diminish their characteristics. This has its origin in “biomedical” positions that were born of frauds (such as Wakefield and vaccines) or beliefs derived from them. We now know that autism is not a disease but a life condition associated with atypical neurodevelopment. For this reason, there is no cure, although there are interventions and adjustments in the environment that can improve the quality of life for those autistic people who are in a situation of disability. This study investigates the perception of young Spaniards about online sports betting and its advertising. The initiative arises from the recent regulation of commercial communications in this sector in Spain. We reviewed the literature related to the phenomenon and the foundations that gave rise to the regulations. Starting from discussion groups with young people between the ages of 15 and 21, we use advertisements as an impulse to learn about beliefs and perceptions about sports betting, the regulations in force and their advertising. There is a certain lack of concern in the group with the influence of advertising and the health risks of possible addictive behaviors. Studies of this type, we believe, could serve as a reference for future regulatory frameworks in the Latin American region, a territory in which this industry is in full expansion.

Communication research in times of epidemics and pandemics is an important factor in prevention, treatment and recovery. The study presented analyzes the behavior of communication research about epidemics and pandemics through the scientific production registered in the Scopus database. Indicators are used to assess general publication trends at the country, institutional, author, journal and article level. The prevailing themes and their evolution over time are examined, as well as the evolution in the groups and associated research fronts. The results show a trend towards the growth of publications with a higher concentration in 2020.
