Financial literacy is recognized as an essential competence in higher education due to its direct impact on economic and social well-being. This study aimed to analyze, through a systematic literature review, the role of financial literacy as a university competence, its benefits, key areas, forms of curricular integration, and main implementation challenges. The review followed the PRISMA 2020 guidelines and included articles, books, and book chapters published between 2020 and 2025 in the databases SciELO, RedAlyC, Dialnet, ScienceDirect, Web of Science, and Scopus. Resumen.- La investigación científica que hemos realizado es básica, cuasi experimental en la que aplicamos el Programa (EACTA) Estrategia de aprendizaje en el área de ciencia, tecnología y ambiente para la mejora del rendimiento académico escolar en los alumnos del segundo año de secundaria de la Institución Educativa N° 6089 “Jorge Basadre Grohmann” del distrito de San Juan de Miraflores. For a long time it was thought that the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Matrix was the only tool to enable to do this evaluation; butthere are other instruments that help analyze the permanence or removal of dishes in the menu. So far, in addition to the BCG Matrix, we can use the following tools: Cost engineering (Omnes principles), profitability index per dish (PID), popularity index, Pavesic Matrix, Miller Matrix, and the multi-criteria analysis. In this article, we propose to use the Arthur D. Little (ADL) Matrix as it complements the analysis of the restaurant menus by observing two complementary concepts: the amounts sold and the product shelf life (contribution margin). The limited access to financing for micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in the province of Maynas, Peru, is due to factors such as informality and lack of credit history, among others, which hinders their growth and competitiveness. Therefore, this research determines how business financing influences economic, market, and organizational growth in commercial companies in the province of Maynas in 2025. Using a quantitative, observational approach and a non-experimental study at the causal level, through the use of linear regression models and descriptive statistical analysis, it was found that business financing exerts a significant and positive influence on the three dimensions of growth, with a greater impact on economic (R² = 0.315) and market (R² = 0.272) growth, and a more limited influence on organizational growth (R² = 0.115).
