At present, social responsibility presents a problem and this refers to whether the social responsibility is only limited to social issues. Based on that scenario, the author emphasizes highlighting a broader vision that includes issues of human rights, the environment and relationships with local communities. Likewise, there is another parallel conflict between private business actors and the protective actions of public authorities. In other words, there is a regulatory vacuum of strategic and technical limitations that do not make it possible to assemble national and international public policies and programs. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo principal implementar una propuesta de mejora en el proceso de gestión comercial, para minimizar los ingresos no percibidos por la empresa Diamante del Pacifico SA, para lo cual se aplicaron herramientas de ingeniería industrial tales como metodologías Lean, análisis ABC, Just in time y metodología CRM. RESUMEN La presente tesis detalla la propuesta de implementar el Mantenimiento Autónomo para incrementar la eficiencia de producción en una línea de envasado de aceite refinado de soya y girasol. El escenario en el cual se desenvuelve la empresa envasadora de aceite refinado de soya y girasol, es muy interesante, debido a que el aceite vegetal es un producto de primera necesidad; siendo Alicorp su principal competidor. Para mantenerse en el mercado y seguir siendo competitivo es necesario implementar metodologías que ayuden a lograrlo. The primary purpose of this paper is to present an actual case of a Peruvian SME which applied IFRS accounting standards specifically, IAS 41 for consumable biological assets to reflect its financial situation more accurately as an alternative to legal and tax regulations applying historical cost, which Peruvian SMEs more commonly use for the preparation of financial statements. Primary data were gathered through interviews and observation at the SME studied. This forestry-industry SME in question tried unsuccessfully to get financing from banks, even presenting complementary information regarding the calculation of biological asset values according to IAS 41. The objectives were (a)To understand how the quality of education in Peruvian public schools assures the development of soft skills, (b)To explore the potential of non-profit organisations in supporting the development of soft skills in public schools. Interviews with three non-profit organisations and a government official, alongside reports, were analysed based on an OECD model.
