This study analyzes through a qualitative study of 4 focus groups (n=13) the meanings and effects of volunteering reported by volunteers of the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games and the Special Legacy Project. On a personal level, positive emotions are reported, linked to the awareness of having been part of historic events, as well as experiences of personal and interpersonal growth. From the social point of view, favorable effects are reported for the construction of a sense of community, civic awareness and national pride. In the institutional framework, organizational and management aspects are identified that favor favorable conditions for the development of volunteer experiences that generate positive effects both personally and socially.

Given the unbalanced urban development, the rapid economic growth and the various migrations toward the capital, Metropolitan Lima has become in a chaotic center where noise surpass the recommended exposure levels given from the WHO. Because of that, it has been decided to analyze noise in the capital in order to compare the results with other countries and to study the law that regulates noise pollution and finally to discover the reasons why noise is a problem to be solved. The comparison between Lima, Bogotá and Santiago concludes that noise levels in Santiago are lower and better controlled than Lima and Bogotá, while these ones share almost the same reality in terms of noise levels. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate that, due to Archbishop Emilio Lissón's economic management, the Archdiocese of Lima’s financial situation was very difficult at the end of the 1920s. Owing to this, Vatican authorities gradually reduced the Archbishop’s powers in the administration of Church property, and in January 1931 ordered him to resign. The main sources that were used in this study are balance sheets and correspondence from both the Archbishopric of Lima and Vatican Secret Archives.

The temporal and spatial trends in the variability of PM10 and PM2.5 from 2010 to 2015 in the metropolitan area of Lima-Callao, Peru, are studied and interpreted in this work. The mean annual concentrations of PM10 and PM2.5 have ranges (averages) of 133–45 μg m−3 (84 μg m−3) and 35–16 μg m−3 (26 μg m−3) for the monitoring sites under study. In general, the highest annual concentrations are observed in the eastern part of the city, which is a result of the pattern of persistent local winds entering from the coast in a south-southwest direction. Seasonal fluctuations in the particulate matter (PM) concentrations are observed; these can be explained by subsidence thermal inversion. Basándose en fuentes secundarias de evidencia, si la competencia continental no se pone al servicio de la ciudad de Lima, con un cambio de mentalidad centrado en el apalancamiento del evento, los resultados serán imperceptibles y los beneficios no excederán el costo de organización. Para maximizar los objetivos deseados, propuestos por el comité organizador peruano, se presentan dos marcos teóricos de apalancamiento de eventos como un medio para implementar el Plan Panamericano de Lima; el marco de apalancamiento económico de Chalip (2004) y el marco de apalancamiento social de O'Brien y Chalip (2008). El propósito del análisis es resaltar cursos de acción para aumentar los beneficios derivados del evento a la comunidad limeña.

Como resultado que no se tiene una buena información de cómo poder realizar sus actividades para que no haya enmendaduras al momento de hacer el registro de la operación, y en ello también se pudo ver que el trabajador no tiene un control en las labores que realizan. Es por ello que se ha visto en la necesidad de que se debe realizar cambios, mediante las alternativas de solución para que la gestión contable sea la correcta y oportuna. De ver que la empresa no tiene una buena gestión contable la empresa se vio en la necesidad de realizar un Manual de políticas y procedimiento, hacer planes de trabajo para medir el tiempo que les tomo en realizar sus labores. Es la manera que se tiene que tener en cuenta para poder obtener informaciones correctas y adecuadas.

El presente trabajo de investigación lleva como título, Relación entre control interno y rentabilidad de la Empresa Anglo American Trading Co S.A., tiene como objetivo; verificar si existe relación entre el control interno y la rentabilidad de la empresa Anglo American Trading CO S.A. Lima 2019. Para ello se realizó un enfoque cualitativo, diseño no experimental, trasversal y de tipo descriptivo. La población del estudio está conformada por el área administrativa, contable, ventas, cobranzas, gerentes que laboran en la entidad Anglo American Trading CO S.A., siendo entrevistados 50 colaboradores. Concluyéndose que existe una relación significativa entre el control interno y la rentabilidad. El 76.00% de las personas encuestadas a la entidad considera que la planeación del control interno tiene relación con la rentabilidad de la empresa.

This article provides evidence on the growing interest of Latin American cinema in hip hop. The cinematographic narration of these films portrays the lives of young people from popular classes who face situations marked by violence and deep social inequalities, through the practice of rap, break dance, graffiti and DJing, components of this culture. The article provides a recount of films and documentaries, made in eight Latin American countries, in the last decade. In La expresión americana (American Expression) (1957), the Cuban poet José Lezama Lima adapts the concept of baroque, which he understands as a principle that characterizes Latin American cultural history. The author of Paradiso theorizes the cultural history of the continent and emphasizes thelandscape as a component of its identity. On the other hand, it is usual to see the author of Alienación (Alienation) as a marginal writer, however, the observations to the text are framed within the historical stage in which it is inscribed, from a shared American feeling. In this sense, we analyze a set of Americanisms to explore the meanings of the words. The Diccionario de americanismos (DA, 2010) (Dictionary of Americanisms) of the Asociación de Academias de la Lengua Española (ASALE) (Association of Spanish Language Academies) is used for the analysis.
