The thesis was developed in the native community of Huatapi in the district of Capelo. The study is quantitative of the observational, descriptive, analytical and cross-sectional type. The housing situation of rural families was evaluated. The study sample consisted of 175 interviews. The results show that the houses are located in areas of high risk to annual flooding of the Ucayali River, which causes losses of crops and livestock and family assets, affecting economic income and putting the health of families at risk. The houses have walls made of sawn wood from the area, easy to work with and short-lived. The neglect of the walls stands out, incomplete and in apparent abandonment. The aim of the research was to determine the impact of pollution from its activities in the informal artisanal mining in the Cerro el Toro and its surrounding areas such as: in the Town Low (CPM) Center Shiracmaca, Caserío El Toro, Coigobamba, District of Huamachuco; Province of Sanchez Carrion, La Libertad Region. The study was conducted by analyzing secondary sources such as technical reports from the Ministry of Energy and Mines, Ministry of Health, Public Prosecutor and other public and private entities; site visits to mining areas of influence and the area where the activity takes place. Asimismo, dos de cada diez peruanos padecen de algún trastorno mental como la ansiedad y depresión según el Ministerio de Salud. Factores como el estrés, caos de la vida urbana y poca interacción con la naturaleza impactan negativamente la salud mental de las personas de NSE A y B de Lima metropolitana.
