This research seeks to address the question of why arbitral tribunals have interpreted treaties concluded by the United States as taking a pragmatic approach to the invocation of the denial of benefits clauses they contain. Thus, our hypothesis states that various of the arbitral tribunals that have interpreted these treaties adopting a pragmatic approach have interpreted these clauses following various methods of interpretation, among which (i) the literal method, (ii) the teleological method, and (iii) the functional method of interpretation are predominant. In this sense, the main objective of the research will be to identify the main grounds used by the arbitral tribunals when analyzing the moment of invocation of these clauses in this type of treaties. This work analyses the use of Spanish (mother tongue) by pre-service teachers (N=55) during a class activity that consists of explaining and solving Primary Education (6-12) mathematical problems in English (foreign language). The objectives are established in the form of three research questions about the amount of frequency of Spanish; its functional categories according to the original classification of De la Campa and Nassaji (2009); and the lack of competence in English of the participants. Este trabajo analiza los usos del español (lengua materna) por parte de maestros en formación (N=55) durante una actividad que consiste en la explicación y resolución de problemas matemáticos de Educación Primaria (6-12 años) en inglés (lengua extranjera). Este trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo fundamental establecer si existen diferencias significativas en la competencia matemática en dos comunidades educativas en las cuales coexisten dos lenguas. Se trata de una investigación de tipo descriptivo comparativa, realizada en dos instituciones educativas particulares localizadas en los distritos de La Molina y Pueblo Libre. Una de las muestras estuvo constituida por 68 niños y niñas del primer grado que estudian en una institución cuya enseñanza – aprendizaje se desarrolló exclusivamente utilizando una lengua extranjera (Inglés) y la otra muestra conformada por 70 niños y niñas de una institución donde la enseñanza – aprendizaje de las asignaturas se hizo exclusivamente en su lengua materna (Castellano / Español). El informe realiza un análisis crítico sobre la resolución 971-2019-SUNARP-TRL. El Tribunal Registral resolvió que procede la inscripción registral de la rectificación de la calidad del bien por un matrimonio del mismo sexo celebrado en el extranjero. Se evidencia un conflicto jurídico puesto que el matrimonio entre personas del mismo sexo no se encuentra regulado en el ordenamiento jurídico. El problema principal se presenta en la interpretación que el órgano de SUNARP desarrolla sobre el contenido del concepto “orden público internacional”. Los estudios sobre los modelos teóricos de la competencia comunicativa en la enseñanza del inglés cuentan con al menos cinco décadas en América del Norte, Asia, América del Sur y Europa. Aún son escasas las investigaciones sistemáticas sobre la competencia comunicativa en América del Sur. El presente artículo bibliométrico sistematiza las tendencias teórica que conforman la conceptualización de competencia comunicativa en la enseñanza del inglés (como lengua extranjera y segunda lengua). Por consiguiente, se analizó de manera cualitativa y cuantitativa 132 fuentes sobre la competencia comunicativa entre los siglos XX y XXI a partir de cuatro fuentes primarias. The competence of the European States in the field of international relations seems to conceive at the present time as an all-embracing faculty, which embraces all responsibility for any activity with external significance. In the Spanish case, this trend has meant a return to the prevailing conception during the primary stage of constitutional development, and refers to coverage in an expansive reading of the State’s competency title on international relations and on the functions of international treaties and Direction Foreign policy constitutionally conferred on the Government.
