Earth's behavior comprehension can be achieved by the analysis of Remote Sensing data, but considering the unprecedented volumes of information currently provided by different satellites sensors, the problem can be regarded as a big data problem. Machine learning techniques have the potential to improve the analysis of this type of data; however, most current machine learning algorithms are unable to properly process such huge volumes of data. In the attempt to overcome the computational limitations related to Remote Sensing Big Data analysis, we implemented the K-Means algorithms, a clustering technique, as distributed solution, exploiting the capabilities of cloud computing infrastructure for processing very large datasets. THE PURPOSE OF THIS STUDY IS TO MEASURE THE LEVEL OF AIR POLLUTION IN THE DISTRICT OF VENTANILLA AND MI PERU, IN PERU. THE CONCENTRATIONS OF SUSPENDED PARTICLES RANGE FROM 2.5 G TO 10 G, ALSO KNOWN AS PM10, AND THE CONCENTRATIONS OF SUSPENDED PARTICLES LESS THAN 2.5 G, ALSO KNOWN AS PM2.5. THE TASK IS TO MEASURE CO2, PM2.5 AND PM10 POLLUTION TO PROTECT THE HEALTH OF PEOPLE LIVING IN THE REGION UNDER STUDY. El objetivo de este trabajo consiste en explicar cómo se desarrolló e implementó una aplicación móvil para la gestión de ventas en una empresa de consumo masivo; esta herramienta es utilizada por la fuerza de ventas del canal tradicional, la cual está conformada por 250 vendedores. El principal problema que tenía el vendedor era llevar controles manuales en hojas y cuadernos de sus pedidos, avances y metas del día, lo cual no le permitía enfocarse en vender y cerrar pedidos con tickets promedio adecuados. Con esta aplicación, se logró incrementar las ventas en dicha empresa, debido a que el vendedor actualmente cuenta con información relevante en el móvil, que le permite optimizar su ruta y cubrir gran parte de su territorio del día; como consecuencia, generar más pedidos. Communication research in times of epidemics and pandemics is an important factor in prevention, treatment and recovery. The study presented analyzes the behavior of communication research about epidemics and pandemics through the scientific production registered in the Scopus database. Indicators are used to assess general publication trends at the country, institutional, author, journal and article level. The prevailing themes and their evolution over time are examined, as well as the evolution in the groups and associated research fronts. The results show a trend towards the growth of publications with a higher concentration in 2020.
