Interrelationships between two species are a basic theme in Population Dynamics, particularly the interaction between predators and their prey. This importance is due to the fact that it allows a deeper understanding of the behavior of complex food webs. In this paper we extend the analysis of a modified Leslie-Gower predator-prey model by assuming that the functional response is sigmoid or Holling type III and the predator have an alternative food. We show that the system representing the model has up to three positive equilibrium points; we establish conditions to determine the nature of each equilibrium point. In addition, we show the existence of different types of bifurcations, including those of Hopf and the homoclinic. The analytical results are discussed from an ecological perspective.

Social innovation is recognized by multilateral organizations as a way to cope creatively and collaboratively with social demands that are not satisfied, neither from the public nor from the private. This challenge requires management reliable relationship between actors with diverse and sometimes conflicting interests. In this sense, the social function of public relations (PR) can provide an important service to prevent resistance to social changes that involve innovation processes. The literature consulted shows that theorizations on social innovation, recommend cultivating relational capital and theories and models PR provide methods and techniques to reliably achieve said capital. Objective. To characterize and compare the knowledge, attitudes and nutritional practices of students of Dentistry, Psychology and Obstetrics at the Universidad Peruana Los Andes de Huancayo. Methods. Basic type of research and non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive comparative design. The sample which was non-probability and intentional, was composed of 35 Dentistry, 35 Psychology and 35 Obstetrics students. It was applied the “questionnaire on knowledge, attitudes and nutritional practices of university students”, validated by the judgment of three experts in human nutrition. Results. It was found that 66.6% of the students consumed three meals a day, 52% had breakfast inter-daily and 45% daily; 86.7% consumed food in the kiosks adjacent to the campus and 48.6% had breakfast during school hours. El objetivo fue analizar la relación de las manifestaciones de dispepsia funcional con el empleo de plantas medicinales en población adulta mayores de 25 años en Mercado Real Plaza Vitarte APROMEC 2024-2025. Métodos. El enfoque fue cuantitativo, corte transversal, método hipotético deductivo, tipo básico, diseño no experimental, la muestra lo conformaron 155 personas adultas, el muestreo fue probabilístico aleatorio sistemático, la recolección de datos se realizó mediante un cuestionario. Resultados. El 41,9% tenían edad entre 26-40 años, 54,8% estaban en sobrepeso u obeso; en manifestaciones de dispepsia funcional el 72,9% fue moderado, 16,8% leve y 10,3% severo, en síntomas 25,2% tuvo llenura después de las comidas, 41,3% saciedad precoz, 32,9% meteorismo, 27,1% eructos, 25,8% dolor epigástrico, 35,5% ardor epigástrico, 34,8% sensación de acidez en la epiglotis, 36,1...
