El presente trabajo de investigación es un caso que trata sobre un emprendimiento de un centro de entrenamiento funcional, operativo desde el año 2016. Sus dueños vieron la oportunidad de satisfacer necesidades que los gimnasios convencionales no habían cubierto, pero todavía no ha tenido el despegue que ellos desean para su centro.

El propósito de este estudio fue determinar la relación entre el funcionamiento cognitivo y la capacidad funcional en usuarios adultos mayores de un centro de salud Iquitos 2023. El diseño del estudio fue cuantitativo, no experimental, descriptivo, correlacional y prospectivo. La muestra consistió por el 100% de usuarios adultos mayores, es decir, los 300 adultos mayores que acuden al centro de salud San Juan. La técnica utilizada fue una entrevista y la observación. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is a widely used material in container manufacturing, particularly in bottle production. It is characterized by its low cost and widespread availability. However, its improper disposal has significantly exacerbated global plastic pollution. For instance, less than 50% of plastic bottles are recycled. Moreover, studies indicate that this issue has led to a significant accumulation of plastic waste in the oceans, which continues to grow annually and could be considered floating islands of debris. This study proposes replacing PET with polylactic acid (PLA), a biodegradable and biocompatible polymer with suitable properties for bottle production. In Mexico, a high percentage of young people experience symptoms of generalized anxiety, which are associated with difficulties in executive functions (EF). However, previous studies have shown inconsistent results, as they often rely solely on either objective or subjective measures. Therefore, this study focused on analyzing the relationship between generalized anxiety and EF using both a neuropsychological battery and a self-report questionnaire, in order to provide a more comprehensive understanding of cognitive functioning in adolescents. Objectives: The aim was to determine the association between tacrolimus levels and early renal graft function, acute rejection and infections in the first month after early kidney transplantation. Methods: Retrospective, observational and analytical study. Review of records of kidney transplant patients over 18 years of age during 2016, who met the inclusion criteria (n = 36). The descriptive and analytical statistics were with STATA 15, significance p <0.05. Results: Age 41.6 ± 15.3, males 52.78%, deceased donor 77.78%, 86.11% had ≤ 3 incompatibilities HLA and PRA 0%. They received induction 97.22%. Tacrolimus dose (TAC C) on the seventh day was 8.7 ± 3.4 ng / ml. The search criteria were supplementation, omega 3, creatine, older adults, memory, function and cognitive impairment. The exclusion criteria were athletes and people under 60 years of age. Determinar los factores asociados a la capacidad funcional en adultos mayores atendidos en el Centro de Salud Santiago, Ica 2023. Investigación cuantitativa, transversal, nivel correlacional y diseño no experimental, con muestra de 157 adultos mayores, aplicándose la técnica de entrevista, como instrumento una ficha de recojo de datos validada por expertos. Predominó la dependencia funcional leve 49%. En factores sociodemográficos predominó la edad 70-79 años 42.7%, sexo femenino 65.0%, educación primaria 40.2%, casados 55.4%, nivel económico bajo 77.7%, no vivir solo 82.2%, tener a quien recurrir en urgencia 92.4%, y con SIS 66.2%. El siguiente estudio tiene como objetivo determinar la capacidad funcional en adultos mayores. Material y método: utilizó como instrumento el Índice de Barthel para medir la capacidad funcional de los adultos mayores. La población está conformada por 80 y una muestra de 80 AM método deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo tipo aplicado, no experimental, corte transversal y descriptivo. El análisis de los datos se hizo a través del SPSS 0.27 Resultados: Adultos mayores de sexo femenino 75%, masculino 25%, la edad predominante fue de 60 años un 15.9%, seguido por 66 años y 75 años con un 9,1% , de los cuales el 54,5% tienen dependencia leve, 29,5% independiente, 13,6% dependencia moderada, 2,3% dependencia severa. Conclusión: Un gran porcentaje de adultos mayores presentaron dependencia leve, lo que implica que deben tener un cuidador o una persona que se encuentre a su cuidado

El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó con el objeto de valorar la capacidad funcional de las personas de la tercera edad del Centro Integral de Atención al Adulto Mayor de la Municipalidad Provincial de Maynas. El trabajo es una investigación cuantitativa con diseño no experimental, transversal de tipo descriptivo correlacional. Se aplicó el Índice de Barthel, para identificar el grado de independencia en sus actividades básicas de la vida diaria y la escala de Lawton y Brody para identificar el grado de independencia en sus actividades instrumentales. El estudio tuvo como objetivo “determinar la relación entre el dolor y la capacidad funcional en pacientes con lumbalgia atendidos en un centro de terapia física y rehabilitación en Cusco durante el año 2024”. Este trabajo se realizó bajo un diseño descriptivo correlacional de enfoque cuantitativo y corte transversal. El instrumento de evaluación fue “la escala visual analógica” (EVA) para medir la intensidad del dolor y el índice de Barthel para evaluar la capacidad funcional. La muestra fue de 45 pacientes con lumbalgia. Los resultados mostraron que el 45,2% de los pacientes presentaron dolor leve, el 34,2% moderado y el 20,5% severo.
