Determina la aplicabilidad de la legítima defensa como eximente de responsabilidad penal del personal policial. La presente tesis es una investigación de carácter dogmático-jurídico. Así, en la presente tesis, la investigación se centra en el análisis de la aplicación o no de la institución de la legítima defensa en actuaciones policiales en el Perú, a través de la utilización de fuentes formales o documentales. A nivel teórico, la realización de la presente investigación se justifica en la ausencia de un abordaje pormenorizado y distendido por parte de la doctrina peruana como por la Corte Suprema de Justicia de la Republica sobre el problema relativo a la justificación de los comportamientos típicos efectuados mediante la legítima defensa.
