description Objetivo: Determinar la relación del Autocuidado con la Adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo dos del Hospital de San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima 2022. Material y métodos: El enfoque metodológico utilizado fue cuantitativo, no experimental, transversal. La muestra fueron 85 pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo dos siendo seleccionadas por criterios de inclusión y exclusión de la investigación. Para determinar la relación del Autocuidado con la Adherencia al tratamiento, para la primera variables se utilizó el instrumento del cuestionario este comprende 7 ítems agrupados en 3 dimensiones y para la variable adherencia al tratamiento se utilizó el instrumento el cuestionario test de Morisky-Green este comprende de 7 items agrupados en 5 dimensiones . Se realizó una prueba piloto a 20 pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo dos, para evidenciar su confiabilidad y validez.
