La población incluyó a todos los colaboradores de la institución de investigación, determinando una muestra de sesenta y cuatro colaboradores, que han sido encuestados, además de haber realizado cinco entrevistas. En el marco de la emergencia sanitaria las entrevistas se realizaron de forma virtual y fueron constituidas por un cuestionario de siete preguntas respaldadas por su guía. El análisis se llevó a cabo de forma independiente, primero con información cualitativa, cuantitativa y posteriormente combinando las dos para un análisis mixto. Luego de transcribir las opiniones, aprobar las ideas principales, codificar y triangular la información de gestión del inventario, se generó la red por subcategorías y se realizó la macro red de diagnóstico final en el software Atlas Ti v8.
