La metodología de investigación correspondió al método deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo con un diseño no experimental transversal; se empleó la técnica de la encuesta, utilizando como instrumento al cuestionario (válido y confiable), considerando estadísticos descriptivos y la prueba de chi cuadrado para el análisis de los datos, en el programa SPSS v.26. Los resultados del análisis indicaron factores socioeconómicos, relacionados al tratamiento, al paciente, al servicio y personal de salud y a la enfermedad, asociados a la adherencia al tratamiento antiasmático en 101 pacientes adultos del hospital San Juan de Lurigancho de Lima, estando asociados a la adherencia al tratamiento antiasmático: nivel de instrucción, tiempo de tratamiento, efectos adversos, apoyo familia/amigos, conocimiento de la enfermedad, conocimiento del tratamiento, trato amable, información clara y, disponibilidad del tratamiento efectivo. En conclusión, de los 17 factores analizados, de las cinco dimensiones de la variable, 53% de ellos estuvieron asociados a la adherencia al tratamiento antiasmático en el hospital San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima 2022
