En el presente artículo se explica la historia de los reconocimientos de laudos a lo largo del tiempo hasta llegar a la Convención de Nueva York. Asimismo, se tratan los beneficios que generaron los cambios en la ejecución y reconocimiento de laudos extranjeros a partir de su entrada en vigencia.
