description RESUMEN El objetivo de la presente investigación fue implementar una herramienta tecnológica en la empresa Avícola San Sebastián para un mejor control de inventario, con el fin de mejorar el mal manejo de la información en el inventario de la empresa, para ello se utilizó encuestas y entrevistas. Así mismo, se realizó pruebas de simulación donde se aplicó un pretest y un post test de la implementación de la herramienta tecnológica mediante el cual los resultados fueron positivos, demostrando que se disminuyó el tiempo para el manejo de información, concluyendo en la investigación que es de gran utilidad para la empresa, ya que, se evidencia que la información está más ordenada y actualizada, la cual es de ayuda para la toma de decisiones tanto a nivel gerencial así como en los demás mandos, debido a que esta herramienta brinda información para todo nivel. Likewise, we performed simulation tests where a pretest and a post test of the implementation of the technological tool were applied, through which the results were positive where we showed that time to information management decreased, so with that result we concluded in the research that this is a very useful tool for the company, since it is evident the information is more ordered and more updated, so this helps decision-making at managerial and every managers, because this tool provides information to every level.
