description La presente investigación estudia las opciones tecnológicas actuales para proyectos de saneamiento rural en el distrito de Piás - Pataz - La Libertad, se determinó la implementación de unidades básicas de saneamiento (UBS). Para la realización de la tesis se utilizó un diseño no experimental transversal descriptivo; siendo la población los proyectos de saneamiento rural en el distrito de Piás; la muestra fue no probabilística mediante evaluación de juicio por experto; usando como técnica de recolección de datos la revisión documental y ficha de datos; empleándose para análisis estadística descriptiva. El problema es que al no contar con un estudio comparativo implicaría una pérdida de tiempo y dinero que se requiere para la implementación de su financiamiento, a los proyectos de saneamiento rural que manda el Ministerio de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento MVCS en el distrito de Piás. Se logró determinar la implementación de UBS encontrado que en los sistemas sin arrastre hidráulico el más favorable es la UBS-HSV Unidad Básica de Saneamiento de Hoyo Seco Ventilado, de costo S/. 11,409.55; y los sistemas con arrastre hidráulico el más favorable es la UBS-TSM Unidad Básica de Saneamiento de Tanque Séptico Mejorado con Pozo de Absorción, de costo S/ 18,978.60.

El problema es que al no contar con un estudio comparativo implicaría una pérdida de tiempo y dinero que se requiere para la implementación de su financiamiento, a los proyectos de saneamiento rural que manda el Ministerio de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento MVCS en el distrito de Piás. Se logró determinar la implementación de UBS encontrado que en los sistemas sin arrastre hidráulico el más favorable es la UBS-HSV Unidad Básica de Saneamiento de Hoyo Seco Ventilado, de costo S/. 11,409.55; y los sistemas con arrastre hidráulico el más favorable es la UBS-TSM Unidad Básica de Saneamiento de Tanque Séptico Mejorado con Pozo de Absorción, de costo S/ 18,978.60.The present research studies the current technological options for rural sanitation projects in the district of Piás - Pataz - La Libertad - Pataz - La Libertad, the implementation of basic sanitation units (UBS) was determined. To carry out the thesis, a descriptive cross-sectional non-experimental design was used; the population being the rural sanitation projects in the district of Piás; the sample was non probabilistic by evaluation of the judgment by an expert; using as a data collection technique the documentary review and data sheet; being used for descriptive statistical analysis. The problem is that not having a comparative study would imply a waste of time and money that is required for the implementation of its financing, to the rural sanitation projects that the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation MVCS commands in the district of Piás.
