description La libertad de prensa, el maltrato y las trabas al ejercicio periodístico, una problemática que se muestra en el presente documento de investigación. Bajo la crisis por la que viene pasando el periodismo peruano, este trabajo expone la importancia de la libertad de prensa en un estado de derecho, basado en los argumentos de diferentes autores y fuentes. Además, las posibles razones por la que la prensa viene siendo producto de ataques, agresiones e insultos por un sector de la población que comparten las mismas posiciones ideológicas al partido que llevó al cargo a Pedro Castillo (Perú Libre), y que en parte es azuzada por el mismo presidente de la República en sus discursos. El maltrato y las trabas al ejercicio periodístico se viene incrementando cada vez más desde el inicio del mandato de la actual administración. Los hombres de prensa vienen siendo agredidos, hostigados e incluso se ha reportado el robo de sus equipos de trabajo en diferentes ocasiones durante el ejercicio de sus labores en espacios públicos. En este documento, se hacen análisis de las diferentes agresiones y trabas al ejercicio profesional de las periodistas puestas por el gobierno en curso.

En este documento, se hacen análisis de las diferentes agresiones y trabas al ejercicio profesional de las periodistas puestas por el gobierno en curso.Freedom of the press, mistreatment, and obstacles to the journalistic exercise, a problem that is shown in this research document. Under the crisis that Peruvian journalism has been going through, this work exposes the importance of freedom of the press in a state of law, based on the arguments of different authors and sources. In addition, the possible reasons why the press has been the product of attacks, aggressions, and insults by a sector of the population that shares the same ideological positions as the party that brought Pedro Castillo (Free Peru) to office, and which is partly encouraged by the President of the Republic himself in his speeches. The mistreatment and the obstacles to the journalistic exercise have been increasing more and more since the beginning of the mandate of the current administration. Press men have been attacked, harassed, and have even reported the theft of their work equipment on different occasions during the exercise of their work in public spaces.
