In this context, Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) had to shift its Educational Model to Emergency Remote Teaching (ERT). This study aims to analyze Collaborative Learning in the process of adapting the virtual learning environment (VLE) used in the four Interpreter Training courses belonging to UPC's undergraduate program in Professional Translation and Interpretation (TIP) during the two academic terms of ERT in 2020. Six interpreter trainers were interviewed to explore their perspectives on adapting the VLE to allow and promote Collaborative Learning in their classes during ERT, while eleven interpreting students shared their perceptions on this VLE's effectiveness in a focus group. Results show how Collaborative Learning was developed through bonds of Positive Interdependence and Promotive Interaction between members of the learning community, both teachers and students.engInstitute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc.info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/collaborative learningCOVID-19emergency remote teachinginterpreter trainingVLEhttps://purl.org/pe-repo/ocde/ford#6.02.00Collaborative Learning and Emergency Remote Teaching in Interpreter Training: Teachers' and Students' Experiences During COVID-19info:eu-repo/semantics/articlehttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a19472022 17th Latin American Conference on Learning Technologies, LACLO 2022reponame:UPC-Institucionalinstname:Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadasinstacron:UPCPublicationLICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain; charset=utf-81748https://upc.dspace7.openrepository.com/bitstreams/11d988e5-cc52-550c-a154-81c81c4ef0f6/download8a4605be74aa9ea9d79846c1fba20a33MD52CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml; charset=utf-81031https://upc.dspace7.openrepository.com/bitstreams/fdd19ac1-9561-5ed0-8c9f-40328f348d90/download934f4ca17e109e0a05eaeaba504d7ce4MD5110757/669230oai:upc.dspace7.openrepository.com:10757/6692302026-02-17 17:49:10.84http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessmetadata.onlyhttps://upc.dspace7.openrepository.comRepositorio académico upcrepositorioacademico@upc.edu.pe
