Currently there is an increase in small and medium-sized companies in construction, but due to the state of emergency it is declining in the construction sector. Providers try to provide care to those who generate the most utility, such as large companies, and this results in carelessness when outsourcing this import service to the companies under investigation. Problems were identified in the part of the cost increases in the budget of the finishes and the late time in which the materials arrive on site by local suppliers, in this case those with the highest position in the market are ceramics. and porcelain for finishes. The purpose of this thesis is to optimize costs and times through the possible solutions to be incorporated: Guide that will optimize costs and time in the management of purchases of imported supplies directly in an import area in the central office for builders of multi-family buildings in Metropolitan Lima. Then interviews are conducted with those in charge of these companies, to learn about their problems and also at the end of evaluating these solutions. These people validate the improvement proposal through a guide that is presented in the thesis. Finally, our proposal for these companies could be validated by the people in charge of the projects and having an acceptance by them, as a conclusion that this guide will generate great benefits for SMEs in the construction sector.
