Se trabaja con un paradigma interpretativo con un enfoque cualitativo. Se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas del contexto peruano de YouTube. La muestra estuvo conformada por 4 creadoras de contenido, siendo que el universo es limitado a tan solo 9 creadoras que tienen como enfoque de contenido el de tecnología. Todas las creadoras son profesionales relacionadas a comunicaciones o ingeniería y esto permite que sean especializadas a la hora de realizar contenido. La técnica utilizada fue la entrevista y el instrumento fue una guía de entrevista. Entre los resultados obtenidos esta que todas afrontaron comentarios sexistas en su contenido y el proceso para llegar a donde están fue difícil por tener que esforzarse para ser reconocidas. Asimismo, dos de las creadoras entrevistadas considera que las agencias y empresas dan mayor acceso a productos/servicios en calidad de préstamos a creadores varones, a pesar de tener igual o mayor cantidad de tráfico en sus redes sociales. Las otras dos creadoras señalaron que sufrieron insinuaciones por parte de las agencias de comunicación. Se concluyó que las brechas existentes no están dadas por educación, pero ganarse un lugar en un sector predominado por varones es más difícil por tener que demostrar conocimiento extra a lo que un hombre puede tener y mostrar ser profesionales a la hora de trabajar con marcas para no ser encasilladas por tocar temas básicos sino ser especialistas en el rubro.The present work aims to identify the existing gender gaps between creators of YouTube technology content in Peru. We work with an interpretive paradigm with a qualitative approach. Semi-structured interviews of the Peruvian context of YouTube were conducted. The sample consisted of 4 content creators, since the universe is limited to only 9 creators whose content focus is technology. All the creators are professionals related to communications or engineering and this allows them to be specialized when it comes to creating content. The technique used was the interview and the instrument was an interview guide. Among the results obtained is that they all faced sexist comments in their content and the process to get to where they are was difficult because they had to try to be recognized. Likewise, two of the female creators interviewed consider that agencies and companies give greater access to products/services as loans to male creators, despite having the same or a greater amount of traffic on their social networks. The other two creators indicated that they suffered insinuations from communication agencies.
