When this behavior increases without control and causes somatic and psychic damage to the individual, we are dealing with a case of Excoriative Disorder (ET), a pathology that has been included in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11), and that, in the Classification American Mental Disorders, is part of the disorders related to the obsessive-compulsive disorder. In adults, the lifetime prevalence of ET ranges between 3 and 5% and presents high comorbidities with affective problems, substance use and morbid personality traits. Although it is not apparently a severe pathology, it causes significant disability and requires systematic screening due to its frequent avoidance by both the affected patient and health professionals.Revisión por paresapplication/pdfengSociedad de Neurologia Psiquiatria y Neurocirugiainfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC)Repositorio Academico - UPCRevista Chilena de Neuro-Psiquiatria6214653reponame:UPC-Institucionalinstname:Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadasinstacron:UPCcomorbidityExcoriation disorderobsessive-compulsive spectrumhttps://purl.org/pe-repo/ocde/ford#3.00.00About a case of excoriative disorder: Brief review of the literatureinfo:eu-repo/semantics/articlehttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a7952024-09-22T13:28:01ZPublicationTHUMBNAIL163.pdf.jpg163.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg75614https://upc.dspace7.openrepository.com/bitstreams/bab41f18-fb4d-5332-9728-24ef282943c2/download10661f4102302709c0e4a877d9be68eaMD55ORIGINAL163.pdf163.pdfapplication/pdf957504https://upc.dspace7.openrepository.com/bitstreams/9b1db171-1e5f-5cb4-9cda-f042ff5af9c6/download2d6ce287f9d097666e8cb123c791713cMD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml; charset=utf-8805https://upc.dspace7.openrepository.com/bitstreams/5cf0443a-4cca-51c9-9fc7-5eb79a96c8b0/download4460e5956bc1d1639be9ae6146a50347MD52LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain; charset=utf-81748https://upc.dspace7.openrepository.com/bitstreams/5dcb73ec-07e0-5e3d-a753-b879b61c3145/download8a4605be74aa9ea9d79846c1fba20a33MD53TEXT163.pdf.txt163.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain30103https://upc.dspace7.openrepository.com/bitstreams/b822f7c3-2fcd-5c81-ab0c-1deeeade34d5/download07e3f02c08989d2ee7fa74f6b9be88feMD5410757/675824oai:upc.dspace7.openrepository.com:10757/6758242026-02-17 17:39:09.149http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessopen.accesshttps://upc.dspace7.openrepository.comRepositorio académico upcrepositorioacademico@upc.edu.pe
