description El presente trabajo busca mostrar el análisis y la justificación para la realización de un proyecto de tesis arquitectónico, en este caso una Escuela de Artes Visuales en el Distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho, el cual busca por medio de su infraestructura implementar el equipamiento necesario para promover el desarrollo cultural del distrito, aprovechando el potencial que otorga su nivel de escolaridad, el amplio público joven al que se encuentra dirigido, y la falta de una sede para este tipo de actividades. Además de aplicar en el diseño de la edificación la nueva tendencia de enseñanza colaborativa para las artes la cual tiene requerimientos espaciales específicos para el mejor desenvolvimiento del alumno.
